This 31-acre / 12-hectare park is located in downtown Omaha and allows visitors to take a relaxing break and experience the natural beauty of a lake and two fountains. Shooting water more than 300 feet / 91 meters into the air, the manmade fountain displays a multicolored light show at night. The General Marion boat tour is a notable attraction here, a fun boat ride costing only a quarter a person. In June, July and August, attractions include live concerts, which add to the relaxed atmosphere at Omaha's Heartland of America Park.

A 300,000-square foot facility on the outskirts of Omaha, the Strategic Air and Space Museum holds more than 30 aircraft, including the B-36 Peacemaker and the SR-71 Blackbird. Celebrating aviation and the individuals who worked at Nebraska's Strategic Air Command, the museum offers many attractions, such as tours, films, audio and visual shows, exhibits, flight simulators, a snack bar, souvenir shop and a gallery displaying the steps of aircraft restoration.
